Elizabeth!!
On Wednesday, you mentioned an herb that your doctor suggested you take to help increase your milk supplywhen your son was in the hospital. I meant to ask then, but totally spaced it. What herb was it that you took? TIA!!!

Herbal supplements to help increase milk supply
My lactation consultant and doula told me to take blessed thistle and fenugreek. 3 pills of each 3 times a day and you should notice a difference in 3-4 days. Make sure you drink lots of water. You can get them at Shangria La or Smith's Marketplace.

Re: Elizabeth!!
Sorry, Miranda I totally never saw this topic. If you still need the advice here it is. I took fenugreek. It took less than 24 hours to start working. Be prepared though, you might get overkill. You can buy it at any health food store.

(poking nose in)
Oooo, love Fenugreek. I took about 3-4 pills 3-4 times a day and it worked really fast. I noticed I smelled like maple syrup, but it worked great.
