I just wanted to come Rave about Shannon Hale. She has quickly and easily become my favorite author of late. If you don't know who she is I suggest going to the library and picking up one of her books. A good one to start with is The Goose Girl, there's also Princess Academy, or if you are looking for more modern day material Austenland is AWESOME!
