Introducing Brooklyn Empty Introducing Brooklyn

Hello All!

I haven't been around for awhile, things got pretty crazy before and after baby girl #3.

Brooklyn June Victorine was born here at our home in Hyrum on April 22nd at 2:12 pm. 7lbs 9oz 21 1/4". Her daddy caught her since the midwife was late! It was a wonderful experience, I loved having her at home with just my husband. She is doing amazing, she has gained 2.5 pounds in a month! I started nursing, ended up with mastitis and went to pumping exclusively. I hate pumping, though, so I'm trying to move back to nursing with little luck so far. Brielle and Brynnlee are doing great with adding Brooklyn to our family. Brielle wants to hold and feed her all the time... Brynnlee mostly just ignores that she is around LOL! Life is kind of crazy with three girls!

Hope all of you are doing awesome and I hope to check in here more now!

Welcome little Brooklyn! Brandi Lyn, I didn't realize that you had homebirths! You should definitely come to one of the natural mom's meet-ups. Almost everyone there has had homebirths.

How is everyone adjusting these days?

That sounds like fun, Amy! When do they meet-up? I still have to figure out how to leave the house between two different nap schedules, pumping/feeding times, etc. It intimidates me just thinking about it!

We are doing good... I wish I could get her to EBF, mastitis really set us back. But Brielle and Brynnlee have done great with having a new sister. They have adjusted better than mom and dad have!
