Lia is here:)
Well, I just wanted to annouce that our baby girl is finally here! She came sunday early morning. We are now at home and doing well, except for a little case of jaundice. She's been under the lights yesterday and today and hopefully by tomorrow will be doing better. I hate it though! Not being able to hold is terrible for me, but I know it won't last for long. I'll have to get some pictures up soon. Just thought I'd say hi to everyone and start getting to know you all:)
Re: Lia is here:)
YEAH! Congrats! I hope all goes well and you're able to hold her soon
Can't wait for some pictures! Hope your little ones are all adjusting wonderfully!

thank you!! We are starting to adjust, but the real test will be when hubby goes back to work next week and it's just me:)
Re: Lia is here:)
Ah, very true! I know how that goes. That is nice he could take a little time off, though!
Your kids are adorable! They look super excited to have a new little sister

Re: Lia is here:)
hey, I saw that you are a fan of baby wearing. My sister made me a moby wrap and I wish I knew how to better use it. Maybe you could show me sometime:) I found a website that has instruction on how to tie it and that has helped a little.
Re: Lia is here:)
Awesome! I love my 'Moby' wrap! (Mine is homemade, too... why spend $50 on 5.5 yards of fabric with a tag in the middle?) I have this and a hotsling. I wore mine almost all day yesterday after Brooklyn had a long crying fit. I feel more handsfree with my moby, which is especially important if I want to get anything done during the day while chasing around a preschooler and toddler! The moby website does have lots of ideas for wrapping, its great! We should plan day at the park when you're feeling like getting out
Re: Lia is here:)
Congrats! I'm so sorry you weren't able to hold her! I wasn't able to hold Christian for three hours after he was born and I was dying!
I had a hand-me-down sling and never could get it to work right... it might have been too big for me though.
Good luck with everything!

Thank you both!!! We should get together sometime this summer and let the kids play:)
Re: Lia is here:)
Oh congrats! Both my girls had jaundice and were on the lights at home for a week. It pulls at the heart so bad!! I hope she gets doing better soon~
Re: Lia is here:)
She's done with the lights now. She had to do them for 4 days and it was hard. But now she's doing better and we're done with them.
Re: Lia is here:)
Hey! Hope everything is still going good Hope you survived the first week home with husband back to work! It was hard for me to get everyone's schedules figured out. Let us know!
Re: Lia is here:)
YOu know this week and last haven't been bad. My 2 year old has always kept me on my feet and still does. Lia is still sleeping a lot and night time isn't too bad. I'm up 2-3 times, which is better than in the past. We're starting to really get the laying down nursing going and that is fantastic for me:) My son was really good at it and hopefully LIa will be too:)
How are your kids doing?

That is great to hear! It is always wonderful when night time can go well, maybe third time is the charm
We're doing well, too. Brooklyn is only getting up 1-2 times during the night and sleeps in until 10 in the morning! She had her two month check-up on Monday and she is our biggest, longest baby yet! My other two never got above the 55%, but Brooklyn is 75% for weight (gained 4.5 pounds since birth!) and 90% for height! It is hard to imagine since she is still so itty bitty.
Brynnlee is starting to throw a decent tantrum at 18 months and I'm learning she is very different from older sister. Brielle is helping out a lot and plays lots with Brynnlee to keep her busy.
